The special callsign DB100FT will be active throughout 2026 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Berlin Radio Tower (Funkturm), one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. The 150-meter-tall steel lattice tower holds a significant place in the history of radio broadcasting in Germany, as it began transmitting in 1926.
