TM6DDAY (Special Event) - France

To commemorate the 82nd anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy (Operation Overlord – June 6, 1944), members of the Caen Radio Club will be active as TM6DDAY from June 6–20, 2026.

The station will operate from the historic Merville Gun Battery in Merville-Franceville, Calvados, located approximately 2 km east of the Normandy landing beaches.

Operations will take place on frequencies from 3.5 to 28 MHz using CW, SSB, and digital modes.
