YR50NADIA (Special Event) - Romania

YR50NADIA is a special event callsign commemorating the 50th anniversary of one of the greatest moments in Olympic history. In July 1976, 14-year-old Nadia Comăneci of Romania became the first gymnast ever to receive a perfect 10.0 at the Montreal Olympic Games.

Throughout July, members of the Federația Română de Radioamatorism (Romanian Amateur Radio Federation) will be active using YR50NADIA to celebrate this historic achievement.
