TX7N Update (Jan 22)
We are excited to announce openings to Europe as of 12:00 UTC today on 10m, 15m, 17m and 20m bands!
Our 4 stations are fully active in SSB (voice mode), and we have already recorded many successful QSOs with European stations.

TX7N, TX7MAS, TX100REF & TX7WW Update (Jan 18)
We have crossed the 20,000 QSO mark! Despite still very complicated conditions, we are starting to have some openings towards Europe, which motivates us to continue our efforts.
However, the adventure is not without its difficulties: the operators fall ill one by one, adding an additional challenge to this expedition.
We thank all the operators who continue to respond despite these challenges, as well as all the radio amateurs for their support and their calls.
We're not giving up, and we hope to see you on the air!

TX7N, TX7MAS, TX100REF & TX7WW Update (Jan 15)
The conditions on site are particularly demanding and require all our energy and adaptability:
• Reduced workforce : The team has 10 active operators. Two operators are absent, and two others are suffering from health problems. Despite these challenges, morale remains good.
• EME (Earth-Moon-Earth) : Three operators are mobilized every day for 5 hours for this demanding mode, which further complicates our organization. See activities section .
Technical conditions :
• Propagation : Average and very unstable, with weak and changing signals. We maximize contacts thanks to our 4 active stations according to the band openings.
• Network : Many internet outages make the livestream impossible. We have therefore taken the decision to temporarily stop it, but we are updating the logs twice a day.
Climate and environment:
• Generally nice weather but intense heat with 98% humidity, which is extremely exhausting.
• Very high UV rays force us to take constant precautions.
Thank you for your support, donations and encouragement. Your enthusiasm gives us the energy to continue despite the challenges. Continue to follow our updates here at www.tx7n.com and stay tuned for more news!

TX7N, TX7MAS, TX100REF & TX7WW Update (Jan 06)
The second team will depart on Thursday, January 9, bringing with them essential equipment for the expedition. Not everything could be on site from the start—that’s the reality of an adventure to the other side of the world! We plan to set up on two remote locations, which requires time and careful logistics.
Unlike a Field Day where you just pack your car and head out, an expedition like TX7N demands meticulous planning. Every step is carefully thought out to ensure the success and safety of the team.
We are sharing updates with you to keep you informed of our progress and to bring you along on this unique journey. The dates we’ve announced for our activities weren’t chosen randomly; they account for the time needed to install and set up our equipment at both sites.

Final Preparations for the TX7N Team!
Last weekend, most of the TX7N team gathered for one final meeting before the big outing! It was the perfect opportunity to fine-tune all the details of this exciting expedition: receiving and distributing equipment generously provided by our sponsors, organizing luggage, finalizing flights, configuring antennas, updating computer systems, testing equipment, and even soldering PL connectors!
We also held a video conference with our on-site host, Tania, who is ensuring that everything is ready for our arrival so that the expedition runs as smoothly as possible.
A big thank you to everyone who supports this adventure! We can’t wait to share our first live contacts from the Marquesas with you!
