SN93LOT (Special event) - Poland

Special callsign SN93LOT will be active from 1 to 31 July 2026 to commemorate the 93rd anniversary of the ill-fated transatlantic flight of Lithuanian pilots Steponas Darius and Stasys Girėnas.

On 15 July 1933, the two pilots departed New York City in their small aircraft Lituanica, attempting a nonstop flight to Kaunas, Lithuania. After successfully crossing the Atlantic Ocean, they crashed on 17 July just 650 km short of their destination.
