S9BV Update (Feb 18)
dear all, you are kindly asked to call me 1 - 3 up, not just 1 up. If several stations of equal strenght call me on the same frequency, I cannot hear. It will go much faster with fewer mistake. When the band opens, there is hundreds of stations on the same frequency and it becomes unreadable.
Band conditions are very different here at the equator compared to what I'm used to. First, the band openes very quickly and closes very quickly almost like ON/OFF. The 30m band openes about 30min before sunset, 40m openes about 30min after sunset. The 60m works at night and is very stable with very strong signals from EU. Unfortunately there is not much activity. If you want to try on 60, e-mail me and we can arrange a sked.

S9BV Update (Feb 6)
Dear all, I've managed to "kill" the noise on 40m. The S-meter shows arr 4 S-units and this should work fine. For 60m I'll move to different location next week.
Dear all, the noise and interference from the solar panels and the inverters are so strong that I can't hear anything. I'll be moving to a new location in a few days - hopefully it will be better there.
