S60SA (Special Callsign) - Singapore

Celebrating the 60th anniversary of Singapore's independence as a republic (9 August 1965), members of the Singapore Amateur Radio Transmitting Society (SARTS) have the privilege of using a special callsign prefix. From 1 January to 9 August, they can replace their standard prefix (9V1) with the commemorative prefix S60. For example, SARTS President 9V1SA will be operating as S60SA during this period.
