Qatar National Day on 18 December

The Qatar Amateur Radio Society will be using the special callsign A71QND to celebrate Qatar National Day on 18 December. In addition to this, several other amateur radio societies will also join in the celebrations:

• The Bahrain Amateur Radio Society will operate under A91QTR from 12 to 18 December.

• The Emirates Amateur Radio Society will use A60QATAR from 18 to 22 December (individual operators may append a serial number to the special callsign).

• The Kuwait Amateur Radio Society may operate as 9K9QATAR.

• The Royal Omani Amateur Radio Society will be on air as A43QAT.

• The Saudi Amateur Radio Society will participate under HZ1QATAR.
