OC100ISL (Special Event) - Peru

Centennial Celebration of San Lorenzo Island — Special Event Callsign OC100ISL

The centennial of the occupation of San Lorenzo Island by the Peruvian Navy will be commemorated with the special event callsign OC100ISL.

OC100ISL will be active throughout September 2026, and an eQSL will be issued to confirm each valid contact.

Note: The IOTA SA-052 reference is valid only on September 25, 26, and 27, when operations will take place from San Lorenzo Island.

📡 BANDS

HF: 80, 40, 20, 17, 15, 12, and 10 meters

VHF: 2 meters

UHF: 70 centimeters

VHF and UHF contacts will not be made through repeaters, unless an opportunity arises to activate amateur radio satellites.

🎙️ MODES

CW, SSB, FM, and Digital modes (FT8, RTTY)

📋 EXCHANGE

Contacts will be confirmed by exchanging callsigns and RST signal reports.

* Operations will be conducted exclusively using amateur radio equipment, including multiband/multimode terrestrial simplex HF/VHF/UHF stations without an internet connection, as well as active amateur radio satellites.
