JW/SP9HGN - Svalbard

Jarek SP9HGN is planning a SOTA expedition in Svalbard during his upcoming trip from July 24 to August 2, 2025.

He will be operating primarily on SSB, with possible FT8 activity depending on conditions. Based on propagation, he plans to activate the 10m, 15m, 20m, and 40m bands. His setup includes a Xiegu X6100 and an EFHW antenna — a lightweight QRP station.

Each summit activation will last around one hour at most, as Jarek will also be hiking and exploring the area.
