HL81V Celebrates the 81st Anniversary of Korea’s Liberation

To commemorate the 81st anniversary of Korea’s Liberation Day (August 15, 1945), members of the Korean Amateur Radio League (KARL) Chungbuk Headquarters (6K0MF) will be active as the special event station HL81V from August 1–31, 2026.

Throughout the month, operators will celebrate this important national milestone by making contacts with amateur radio operators around the world, giving DXers and collectors an opportunity to add this commemorative callsign to their logs.
