HK - Colombia (Fuerte Isl. IOTA SA-078)

🎉 We’re excited to announce an upcoming DXpedition to Fuerte Island (IOTA SA-078, Grid FJ19) by a dedicated team from the Asociación Unida de Radioaficionados, consisting of HK4T, HK4C, HK4SSI, and HK4X — collectively operating as Team HK4ARU.

📅 The expedition is scheduled for late July 2025, with the primary goal of activating this sought-after island reference during the IOTA Contest 2025.

🔹 Highlights of the expedition:

• First-ever satellite activation from Fuerte Island (QSOs via satellite)

• Operations on POTA, WWFF, and ARLHS

• Two special callsigns:• 5K0T (operated by HK4T)• 5K0C (operated by HK4C)

• Portable activations:• HK0/HK4SSI• HK0/HK4X

• QSL Manager: EA5GL

We’ll be active on HF, VHF/UHF, and satellites, fully complying with contest rules and formats.
